Chinese Potato/Taro
Chinese potato they are distributed mainly in the hot lowlands of the tropics. In Ecuador it is cultivated mainly in the plains of the tropics and in the outer foothills of the mountain range, it has a high nutritional value; 2.4% protein, vitamins A, C and D, complex B1, B6, B11 and B12 and large amounts of Calcium and Phosphorus.
